The P-51 Mustang is one of the best fighters that was ever in service.Designed,built,and flown in just 120 days,As a fighter, it was used for several different things.This earned it the name "multirole fighter".This mustang (left) is fullyloaded carrying it's 180 gallon droptanks.

Today,only about 150 mustangs are still around, and about 130 of those are air worthy.compaired to most other rare aircraft,this is a pretty high number.The mustang is powered by a 12 cylinder rolles royce merlin engin.The very first prototype,powerd by a 12 cylinder allison engin,rolled of the essembly line in 1940 by a company by the name of "North American Aviation".It was faster and more agile than most other fighters of that time.
